The Aporia International Village Film Festival hosted a special film screening in Tong-il-chon, a village located in the civilian control zone closest to North Korea. Due to the significance of holding the event in such a restricted area, MBC, one of South Korea’s leading broadcasting networks, came to cover the story.
This clip features a segment of Larvae Story along with a short interview with Roda Na.
The 4.5-minute stop-motion animation Larvae Story, directed by Roda Na, won Best Animation at the Aporia International Village Film Festival in 2022.
남한에서 북한과 가장 가까운 민간인 통제 구역에 해당하는 마을, 통일촌에서 '끄트머리 국제 마을 영화제'가 특별한 영화 상영회를 열게 되었습니다. 특수한 구역에서 개최되었던 뜻깊은 상영회였기 때문에 한국의 대표 방송사 중 하나인 MBC에서 취재를 나왔습니다. 본 영상은 Larvae Story (애벌래 이야기)의 일부분과 Roda Na의 짤막한 인터뷰 영상이 등장하는 부분을 clip으로 제작한 것입니다.
로다 나가 제작한 4.5분 길이의 스탑모션 애니메이션, Larvae Story는 2022년 끄트머리 국제 마을 영화제에서 Best Animation을 수상하였습니다.
